Activists from International Ukraine Anti Fascist Solidarity joined the Nakba 76: National Demo for Palestine today in Central London to highlight the links between Western imperialism’s wars in Israel, Ukraine and Yemen – the role of NATO countries in all three conflicts sending weapons and money and using sanctions to advance the aims of US-led imperialism.
The protest started at the BBC Centre in Portland Place and and the Prime Minister’s residence in Whitehall.
There is considerable anger at the BBC‘S coverage of Palestine and the Gaza protests, such as not reporting the national Gaza march on 27 April, which had at least half a million protestors, on any of its news website pages including the London News page.
Our placards calling for and end to sending weapons and advisors to Ukraine and Israel, and peace talks in Ukraine, Israel-Gaza and Yemen, received an overwhelmingly positive response from the protestors including clenched fissts and victory signs.
